BIOHAZARD

This might more accurately be called, "space marine knockoff...in a downtown." Sure was fun. I really enjoyed drawing the curvy, more organic bulk suit. I drew him on paper before "inking" him in Photoshop and painting in values. The buildings (to be finished later) were done entirely digitally. Still learning the software, but it's beginning to set in. :-)

Mr and Mrs. Bones

This was a piece done in over the course of two class periods. Got it to this point yesterday afternoon. Sorry for the picture quality. Gotta get me a nice camera :-)

There were two sources of light, one in white light and the other a bright green glow coming from Mr. Bones' direction. I had a lot of fun doing the ribs and folds in the dress.

Friar Harris

Preparing to paint this for next week. If I had a fireplace, and a mantle above it, this would eventually go over that mantle over that fireplace. My initial idea was just to paint a costumed character, but turned into a very literal and goofy take on "moral dilemma." Posing is my gracious friend, who agreed to shave his hair in the style of the Franciscan Monks, of which he already owned a costume.

Few more sketches...

The semester is winding down. One more week! So much to do. Here are some "leisurely" drawings from over the past month.

Pff. Right. Leisure.

All ballpoint.

Getting some practice drawing my surroundings at the Underground Cafe at RMCAD.

An archer of sorts...

My attempt at using one line to draw the booth nearby.

I couldn't decide if this guy was strengthened or imprisoned by the metal encapsulating his body. Didn't think it through.

Mi amigo, Abraham. Allen was sitting behind him but decided to move and ruin everything. Thanks Allen.
